Yes, every day (we also train other international interior designers). Design sessions, drawings, agreements and contact with the building team: everything is available in English. Many of our clients moved to Rotterdam from abroad.

It is possible, but to come up with the best design, we need to meet you in your natural habitat. This will probably mean we will fly in to your current location for the in depth MasterPlan sessions and do the rest of the design process remotely. By the time you arrive, your home could be waiting for you.

Casco delivery is common in Dutch new build towers: you receive the raw space, without finished floors, walls or kitchen. For us this is the ideal starting point. Every wall, line of light and built-in element can be designed for you from day one, and much of the interior can be produced before delivery.

Yes. If you already have a contractor, we can align with them seamlessly. Prefer our network? Then a complete team stands ready: project manager, contractor, interior builder, lighting specialist. Without margins or commissions for us. That way we always choose the best people. The advantage is yours.

A traditional design process often takes several months to a year. Our way of working is faster: for most projects we complete the design in about a month, because no other projects run in between. We have our full focus on you.

Building time depends on the project. In a new build apartment or penthouse with all connections in the right place, a lot of the interior can be produced in advance, so delivery is often possible within weeks after you receive the keys. Renovations of villas and townhouses naturally take longer.

Yes. We work throughout the Netherlands and internationally, from holiday homes in Southern Europe to city penthouses in world cities.

Rotterdam is our home base. We know the city, the builders, the developers and the specific challenges of high-rise living and townhouses in areas such as Kralingen, Hillegersberg and the city centre. That knowledge travels with every project, wherever it is.

Yes. We can deliver projects turn key: fully designed, realised and furnished. Down to the tea spoons in the drawer. As interior architects we are generalists within a broad field, from technical aspects such as load bearing structures to the aesthetics of upholstery and bespoke furniture. For every detail we can bring in the right specialist, so everything fits and is executed perfectly.

In the Netherlands, interior architect is a protected title: it may only be used after a six year (master level) education in interior architecture and registration in the national Architectenregister. Think of it as the architect for the inside: layout, daylight, technology, detailing and materialisation in one coherent plan. Interior designer and interior stylist are unprotected titles; anyone may use them.

Of course. We work in a step by step, co-creative way: rather than presenting three loose options, we take you through the why behind every choice. That makes the design truly yours, and changes become rare. Should a new insight arise halfway, we adjust course. What matters is that the end result is right for you.

We always call first to see whether there is a match. If there is, we visit you, in Rotterdam, elsewhere in the Netherlands or well beyond if needed. We want to get to know you and your natural habitat, wherever that is.

A good design is more than a beautiful room. It prevents expensive mistakes, preserves the architectural quality of the property and makes sure every choice is right, technically as well. Prefer to do it yourself? Then we are the last to hold you back. But if you involve us, we start with how you live and work from there to every detail of the design.

We start with how you live, move, host and unwind, and translate that live into a 3D design that shows how everything works together. The result is one MasterPlan that fixes layout, routing, technology and materials as a whole.
